Equipment
Muller Machine has a wide varity of machines -- engine lathes, mills, Sunnen hone, gear cutting equipment, a "hole popper", and more. A few of these machines are used primarily
as support equipment for the wire edm machine, while others are used to expand the in-house capabilities. An extensive variety of inspection equipment including a Nikon comparator, Olympus
stereo microscope, various calibrated surface plates, and of course a wide variety of micrometers, gage blocks, gage pins and other measuring tools insures that every part that leaves
the shop is not only within tolerance, but typically right down the middle of any tolerance.
Ultimately, inspection is a process that is only as good as the inspector, and I have been working and measuring down to the tenth and sub-tenth range for 35 years.
My wire edm machine is a pristine, low-time, meticulously maintained Agie 170 HSS. This machine has a 12" x 8" X/Y capability with 10" of Z capacity. Despite being a nearly 15 year old machine, this is
the last series of Agie machines that had tilting upper and lower heads... recognized as the most accurate wire machines ever made for doing complex 4-axis cutting.
Along with this machine, I have a very complete selection of System 3R tooling.
The Agie wire edm machine and all inspection equipment are in a cleanroom that is maintained 24/7 at 68°F, which is one of the factors that makes "working to the tenth" possible.

Assistance in these areas can be provided if required...
Additionally, I also work with a few "select" shops that can provide CNC lathe and mill work, plunge edm, water-jet, or other services which might be necessary when manufacturing
parts or assemblies that require more than just wire edm work. Most of these shops are exclusive one-man or very small shops owned by like-minded individuals who approach
their specialty as seriously as I approach wire edm work.
